This website is available at radio-direct.fr under the name Radio Direct.

Nature and independence of the service

Radio Direct is an independent listening and discovery service that facilitates access to radio stations, podcasts, and episodes provided by third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not the official website, agent, or representative of these radio stations, publishers, producers, or rights holders.

Radio Direct does not produce the programs available through the website and exercises no prior editorial control over their content. The associated audio streams, files, images, descriptions, and metadata come from radio stations, publishers, or third-party technical services.

Each radio station, producer, publisher, or broadcaster remains responsible for its programs, their availability, and compliance with the rights that apply to them.

Availability and liability

Radio Direct uses reasonable means to operate the service and present reliable information, but cannot guarantee the permanent availability, accuracy, or continuity of streams, podcasts, metadata, and services supplied by third parties.

Third-party content or streams may be interrupted, moved, changed, or removed without notice. Radio Direct is not responsible for opinions, advertising, content, or interruptions attributable exclusively to those third parties, nor for damage caused by the user’s network or equipment or by unlawful use of the service.

Radio Direct remains responsible for its own content and obligations under the conditions provided by law. Nothing on this page excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits users’ mandatory rights.

Intellectual property and no affiliation

Radio Direct’s structure, interface, graphic elements, and proprietary content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-party trademarks, names, logos, images, recordings, texts, and programs remain the property of their respective owners. Their presence serves to identify the relevant service or content and does not create any partnership, agency, representation, or mutual endorsement.

Accessing these elements through Radio Direct does not grant any right to reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit them.

Cookies, local storage, and personal data

Radio Direct stores in the browser the preferences and features that are necessary or requested by the user, including the theme, language, selected country, favorites, recent listening, and certain interface settings. Application cookies are intended to last no more than one year; local storage remains until it is deleted by the user, browser, or website.

A random pseudonymous identifier is created to synchronize favorites and certain listening activity with the technical radio and podcast APIs. This identifier and the references of the relevant content may be sent to the technical services required for these features; they do not directly contain the user’s name or email address.

The website uses Matomo, loaded from matomo.montana.cat, to measure audience and browsing journeys. This service receives technical information relating to visits and may use its own trackers depending on its configuration.

Playing a radio stream or episode establishes a connection to the broadcaster’s server or its service provider. Their own privacy rules apply to this connection.

When someone writes to the contact address, their email address, message, and supporting documents are used to respond to and follow up on the request.

Recipients and technical service providers

• OVH SAS hosts the origin infrastructure, while Cloudflare delivers and secures the public domains.
• Matomo, hosted at matomo.montana.cat, measures the audience and receives technical browsing data.
• When the relevant feature is used, the Radio Light and Radio World Podcast APIs receive the pseudonymous identifier and references to favorites or listening activity.
• When content is played, the browser connects to the broadcaster or its audio service provider, which receives the IP address and technical connection data.
• Emails are transmitted through Yahoo and the sender’s email provider.

Retention periods

• Application cookies are retained for no more than twelve months. Unless a shorter period is configured, Matomo cookies are retained for thirteen months for the visitor identifier, six months for attribution, and thirty minutes for the session.
• Local storage remains until it is deleted by the user, the browser, or the website. Session storage is deleted when the tab session ends.
• Apache logs on the origin server are retained for approximately fourteen days.
• Retention by the remote APIs, Matomo, Yahoo, and audio providers is governed by their own settings and policies. An earlier access or deletion request may be sent to [email protected].

Use of the website

Users agree to use Radio Direct lawfully and not to:

• circumvent security measures;
• disrupt, overload, or degrade the service;
• carry out automated or bulk extraction without authorization;
• alter or divert streams, or infringe the rights of Radio Direct or third parties.

The website may contain links to the websites of radio stations, publishers, app stores, or other external services. Radio Direct does not control their content, availability, or policies; their own terms apply.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory rules applicable in the user’s country of residence. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts designated by the applicable rules on jurisdiction.
